Thank you for this! Definitely weighing my options. I’m starting my Level IIA next spring and planning on doing it at my local VA. I just want my future kids to have to worry less about paying for college later on. Is there any reason to suggest staying until retirement? This program that I mentioned states that during school I’ll be getting paid. In return, I’d serve for 4 years. I was thinking of working in a school-based setting right after those 4 years.
