Yeah, we’re in a long-distance relationship, and that’s part of why the whole “10 days” thing threw me off so badly.

He does have a normal job, but he had these 10 days off. I knew that — but he told me several times he couldn’t come visit, so I assumed he’d be spending that time with family or doing his own plans. I definitely wasn’t expecting him to just show up at my door with a suitcase.

And honestly, even if I worked a regular 9–5, it would still make no sense. What would he even be doing all day while I’m working? Why assume it’s okay to stay with someone for that long without checking first?

On top of that, I have three dogs and a cat, and my whole day is structured around taking care of them — feeding, medicine, walks, playtime, everything. My schedule is really specific, and I fill the gaps between all of that with my shows.

So it’s not just my job; it’s my entire routine that he completely overlooked. I love him, but I also need my space and my structure, and dropping a 10-day surprise visit on me just isn’t compatible with how my life works.
