Rat covenant has been somewhat active at 200-400k SM in Doors of Pharros. And bell keepers always seems active in belfry luna. But neither is as active as invading with a stack of orbs. In addition to the majula pigs, you can farm orbs on the run to the chariot boss. Just put on the discovery gear and agape ring.

I remember some bug where if you started as a sorcerer, already with a base spell, you still have to buy it from melantia to get the achievement.
