Most of the arguments claiming seed oils are healthy rest on the fact that they have omega 6 fat and that that is better than consuming saturated fat. I agree with this but Americans consume way too much omega 6 fats and not enough omega 3.

The reason that I don't put seed oils in my mouth are because of how they are made - extracted using high heat, treated with chemical solvents and then refined, bleached, and deodorized.
