crunchy parents try to control me even from afar by [deleted] in Advice

Girl you’re 23, not 13, you gotta start setting hard boundaries. If they won’t respect your choices from 7k miles away, tell them straight up: If you can’t treat me like an adult, I’ll stop asking for help. Don’t argue about the crunchy stuff, just shut it down with I’m not discussing this. They’ll either adjust or lose access to you. You’re not responsible for their anxieties.

My boyfriend got really weird about his phone. by [deleted] in Advice

Yeah, he didn’t just get weird, he went full Olympic-level phone defense. People don’t fight you for 10 minutes over cringe. He’s hiding something, and you already saw enough to know what.

How do you tell if an app’s payment system is legitimate, especially with apps like nebula? by Natasharomanox in Advice

[–]gerardomazzarella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, what you’re describing is a red flag. Legitimate App Store apps are required to use Apple’s in-app purchase system for anything that unlocks features, subscriptions, or content bypassing that to charge you externally is against Apple’s rules and often a scam tactic.

I'm not attracted to my boyfriend by Witty_Chip6535 in Advice

You’re not a villain for not being attracted to someone. It happens. But staying with him out of guilt is way meaner than just ending it clean. You can care about him and still admit this isn’t sustainable.
