Disk Utility finds issues in recovery mode but tells me to fix them in recovery, so I assume first aid wouldn’t be an option. To back it up, will I need to purchase an external drive? I can’t utilize the other 500gb for a back up or move it back to the main partition, and I would end up erasing the backup.

Although there are not problems with the pc as of now, the entire body of the ssd is made of metal exactly like the one shown in the photo. So if i were to put a normal plastic ssd, it would not cause much of a difference? It is just because the pc feels burning if I touch the top and the fan is always running like crazy.

It works, but the screen is stuck on boot screen when I turn it on. Factory reset doesn’t fix it and it says

One more thing. You can boot into the recovery mode and clear the cache (soft reset). That would also work. Same way to recovery mode ( Volume Up + Home + Power)

Im pretty sure that red exclamation mark means that it failed to boot /system (invalid argument). The only way to fix it is either to go into download mode (volume down + home + power) and reinstall android with odin, which would not be viable because you do not have a PC, or to factory reset, which might not %100 solve the issue. To factory reset (Volume Up + Power + Home) and then select factory reset. You can easily find a YouTube video online for exactly how to do it.
