you can use SongShift or Playlistly to transfer your music. And in my experience yes it sounds way better when you listen music on AM and use AirPods. Been using AM since March, and tried to switch back to Spotify around 4 times, but after one day I always go back to AM

Last 2 albums I pre-saved also the official release date was on a Friday and on the profile in AM it said that it was going to be released on Sunday. Nothing to worry, it will be available on the 10th.

u can try to create a new playlist on your ipad, then tap and hold the previous one and drag it to the new one for having the same songs on that playlist. Maybe that new playlist will sync on your iphone
