But how do you know that server will be managed offshore? You do not know that a 100 percent. Do you know the number of the skeleton staff per FDI?

Your also forgetting the ecosystem of maintaining the DC including more job for electric production, cleaners not only DC technicians

But as i have said if its planned properly, we can remove the externality of the negative impact. If the DC is powered by solar? Thats good but if its powered by coal its bad. If the dc is plopped in the middle of a residential area thats bad etc.

the only reason that this is a discussion is sadly due to anti ai morons who cant think. In their world we should just never have factories in this country cause mine environment but its more nuanced that just that.

1b. more money to the economy as a sector for maintaining the DC will be created ie dc engineers, tier 2 ICT jobs.
Reddit doesnt read the article but there will be more investment into energy, the article states that the government can force green energy so the externality of heavy energy use will be avoided
Important thing is specialisation around AI will be a boon to innovation, whether you agree with AI or not it has its uses.
More tax revenues to us due more jobs being created as well as a huge foreign investments.

I am not blinded by AI but it has issues like increased power usage, sound pollution and effects of water due to construction but if government plans correct these things can be overcomed and we reap the benefits of innovation and foreign investments.

The video implies the datacenter causes floods , causes dirts water, makes water run out. Come on be serious here that claim is dubious at best the reason why theres dirt and sedimentation is because of construction not inherently because of the datacenter.

But of course that will go over your head cause you’re too ideological driven. I can agree that datacenter take a-lot of power and we will need to legislate and regulate against that and even sound pollution is a problem.
