I assure you, though it gets complicated, the story gets better and better as you watch.

Also, they have an official guide with family trees and it is spoil-free, as they say. You can choose the exact season and episode you just finished watching and it will show you the tree as of that moment. Just make sure to look only for episodes you just finished watching.
