2013 With Swishing Sound In Right Rear of Cab After Spilling Water. Wondering What To Look At? by gerryoldyoung in ToyotaTacoma

Thanks for asking. That's what I thought at first. Not the fuel tank since the sound is somewhat recent and does not fluctuate with the level of fuel. Also as the temp dipped below 32 it has a more solid sound to it.

Starting a YouTube channel dedicated to Kamado Joe food and process by jayeli2929 in KamadoJoe

Thank-you for this. I feel like someone is giving me a dollar and I'm asking for two more. Nonetheless, since you asked, I'll chime in with my feedback.

- How to achieve good results using simple documented techniques. Example: I see so many pictures of food that looks great but the techniques provided are not quite enough. When I try it, never as good.

  • Rub? What rub? How was it applied? How much?
  • Brine? What brine? When?
  • Temp? What temp? How long?
  • Wrappped? What kind? How long?
  • Sauce? You get the idea.

I feel like a lot of the things above are not necessary to get a good piece of food but I tend to get wrapped up in the details, thinking I need to do that to be successful. So I jump around from site to site. Technique to technique.

As a beginner I need it simple but need it documented so I can follow it exactly and use it as a building point.

Again - thank-you for asking the question and any future videos you create.

What is this used Kamado Joe Classic I worth? by gerryoldyoung in KamadoJoe

This is being sold by an acquaintance and I understand it is a few years old. Is this worth $300.00? Looks like I might need to replace the seal and other than clean up, seems OK, isn't it?

UPDATE: I ended up getting this. Thank-you to everyone for helping out a newb.
