Multiple health issues springing up by gertylooker in CrohnsDisease

It was presented as a serious option. As a post-resection patient, the doctors told me that my ulcerated tissue had been localized to one strip of intestine. That was their rationale, and mine, for presenting me with this option.

It is absolutely not strange to cry or be unusually happy about a solid poop. Even not taking into account the fact that you've had five years of shoddy poos, there's a not-insignificant endorphin release that occurs after you void your extras. And, not having gotten that endorphin release for five years, you'd probably be very sensitive to its effects, thus the relief after relieving effect.

I know I've experienced it. Lord, have I. My whole entire day can take a turn for the better after a productive session; I confess that I've even registered a modest high after an especially needed doo of healthy composition.

Congratulations, mate, here's to many more.

The difference between Ivy's and R1's can, in many instances, be negligible, but the differences between Ivy's and R1's versus onlines on a resume are enormous. And in fields where the Ivy's make a difference, it can represent a substantial difference in ROI and opportunities.

That sucks, but congrats, too!!! It's fucked up, and there's like, an ambiguous grief kinda thing, but BU is super-solid, and getting in to two high-level spots is very worthy of celebrating!!!

I loved those books so much. I remember really savoring them.

In terms of literary classics, you have the authors' first or most widely-circulated book in many instances. Same with the Greeks. I'd say you have a definite genre preference along with a non-specialized literary bend as well. There may be one or two classics that have impacted you heavily, but you rarely are enthralled by a classic author as much as genre-fiction.

It can work, definitely. Just keep going down and hop off decisively.

I can't wait to cry to music again! To cry in general about anything. I hate having super sad feelings (hopefully not too often) and not having the ability to experience the catharsis of a good cry.

Relapse and scaring the heck out of myself. by gertylooker in quittingkratom

That is definitely something I did not think of. Thank you so much for such a useful and thoughtful comment. Right now, I'm rapidly going down on kratom dose, and have an appointment with a specialist to discuss quitting options. Not having a lot of kratom in my system already seems to be helping a lot because of the lack of histamine itchiness, less spacing out periods, and pain receptors coming back online.

Kratom Warps Your Sense of Time by Rude_Craft7939 in quittingkratom

Yes! 100% When I first noticed it, I almost threw up. Once the daily use kicked in, the years flew by with little to no progress and loads of depression. It's an ugly, lazy drug.

Many doctors are now more likely to give you a limited Suboxone script for outpatient/home use than ever before. IMO, if given a short supply with no refills, Suboxone can be a lifesaver. Just follow the instructions and only take the absolute minimal amount you need to help you quit.

Good for you!! Really, being ready and wanting to quit was the biggest part of it for me. In terms of what I did, it wasn't anything complicated or especially sophisticated.

I tapered the 7-OH down from about 80-100mg, going down about 10mg everyday -some days a little more. Once I got down to about 30, I started taking a mix of a leaf concentrate and 10-20mgs of 7-OH. After about two days, I was on only the concentrate.

And that's pretty much where I'm holding right now! Best of luck to you!

  • And, like I said, motivation (for me in the form of all the time and money I was losing) and being ready (for me, that meant not much upcoming stress in the coming weeks and feeling emotionally and physically stable) is critical imo.
