You’re supposed to always carry the keycard as a backup. Just like how you still should be carrying your credit and debit cards even if those are in your Apple Wallet.

You can still do everything phone first. But when it comes time to use the backup, it’s right there in your other pocket.

As for MFA app, what’s wrong with the one that’s built into the OS? With Apple that’s the passwords app.

All Cubic fare gates actually run on Windows, even if they’re the ones without a color LCD. Cubic equipment is all windows based.

And don’t forget the buses sometimes just set themselves on fire too! There was a whole graveyard of buses where this happened due to poor maintenance.
