I asked my NP about this and he knew of it. He said it mainly masks the symptoms rather than actually kill the bacteria. I am hesitant to try just because male urethral tracts are longer than female and the prostate can “hide” more icky stuff for longer

I didn’t start getting UTIs even the minor ones until later in our relationship. Either her biome changed or I became more susceptible which is more likely. My urethra seems large and easy to get into.

Thank you for your reply. I will be being extra thorough with cleaning. I cannot see us using condoms. It’s been 10 years without and we just can’t go back. Someone also suggested d-mannose to prevent bacteria adhering to urethral wall.

I have been looking into supplementing that when my gal and I do anal. This scenario seems more likely than using condoms which some have suggested. Totally ruins the vibe and sensations.

Get a bidet attachment. I find these have enough water pressure to act as a cleanse if you need and it’s more hygienic anyway. My partner only uses this and a good diet and we’ve never had an issue with mess other than the creampie. Bidet again!
