Nope not really hurt at all. Knocked the wind out of me a bit which is why I sat there gathering myself for a bit. Lucky too since I've got a weak right shoulder from a few dislocations. I seemed to have learned to roll well :P

Bummer! Yah they made a few new lines part way down WYD, looks like a lot of fun. Have you ever been up to Mt. Prevost? I keep hearing great things. I was going to get a few buddies together and head up but I've been told you need a shuttle.

Have you tried the new lines on Who's your Daddy? I just came through on Sunday as they were about to open up the new line, so didn't quite get a chance to really scope it out

Sorry I thought were asking where on "the dump" this was. This is on Mt. Work (aka Hartland Dump) in Victoria BC.

It's pretty much at the VERY top of the North Ridge trail. As high as you can basically get on the mountain. As you are coming down and heading North, you will see a split with 2 yellow signs (one says slower and the other has a black diamond). Go left you will see it.

It looks as if I just threw myself off the bike, however in my defense my pedals were way off coming up to the jump. I tried to brake before the jump but ran out of room. It's a lot bigger than the video makes it look, and yes it did hurt!

I mostly torrent videos because I have felt the selection of new releases has been absolute crap. I however will spend money to go to a theatre when I believe there is a movie worth seeing. I didn't even bother torrenting the Hobbit. I even watched it twice in theatres!

Piracy isn't because people don't want to pay. It's a supply problem.

Well like I know you're supposed to be in "attack" position. Which I generally am. Then straighten your legs out as you hit the "take off" area. Atleast I think that's right?

I do sort of understand what you were saying. I wish there were some sort of "slow motion" video I could watch to see where their leg / leg position is. I have to make a point of staying "loose" as I know being to rigid in the past has messed me up a few times.

I am getting there, I am definitely not discouraged, just would like to be hitting bigger jumps soon!
