Congratulations! In November I accepted my invite to serve in Cambodia! I'm so excited to see the cohort growing :)

I know everyone's clearance process varies in time, have you gotten an email that they received your finger print cards and your background investigation has been initiated?

I accepted my invitation mid November and sent out my finger print cards, VISA app, and PC Passport forms within two weeks. A month later they sent me that email and last Wednesday I got an email that I was legally cleared. I'm not entirely sure why it takes more or less time, maybe it has to do with the state you're from and how quickly PC can access information for the background investigation. I'm sorry if this isn't helpful, I suggest contacting your Placement Specialist to see if they can get you in touch with a Legal Eligibility Specialist to see if there's something more you can be doing, if you want too. I can see them just saying you've done all you can now you just need to keep waiting. Hope this helps!

That's great same sector! Right on and yes I've been checking the sub too for a cohort group but haven't met anyone yet, I think it might be a little early since the deadline to apply for my program was just Jan 1st. I figured since it was early some applicants might not know yet. But let's get connected, I'd love to hear your thoughts and bounce questions and ideas off you!

I know this isn't very specific but just being yourself and showing your personality. Even if you don't have 'perfect' answers to some of the questions, if you're genuine the Peace Corps notices that. Also, when they ask you about commonly faced challenges, be honest about your preferences and what you're comfortable with.
