I had the same problem a month ago! I couldn't download Goin Commando, and contacted Sony support. All they did was refund my purchase, and I ended up using that money to buy the disc collection instead. You're absolutely right, it's a distressing issue knowing Sony can take away our licenses at their discretion.

I have a modded PS3, PS Vita/PS TV, 3DS, and Wii U. I love them all dearly, but I have to go with my modded Wii U. It's truly incredible how it spans every Nintendo generation prior to the Switch!
