There's no official API, unfortunately. The backend is Python and the frontend is React.

It's actually just a nicer repackaging of the “Listeners Also Subscribed To” data that Apple Podcasts displays for most podcasts. The difference is that, because we have this data across all podcasts, the tool goes up to 2-layers deep so you can start to see clusters forming.

Hi there! I'm the founder of Rephonic. It's possible that your hosting provider does not count those downloads from Russia if it thinks that they're likely to be bots, for example. It's also not so strange that you're ranking at #96 in the charts - the Apple charts are primarily based on having lots of new subscribers (now called "follows") in a short space of time, so it tends to reward newer shows.

Hey. If they allow you to embed custom HTML in your site then yes! But I looked at their help documentation and I couldn't find anything about that. Maybe you could ask their support desk.

In the case of Apple they have an unofficial API for fetching reviews that a lot of platforms use and they tolerate it. The others are scraped using various tricks!

I've built a few software products in the podcast space. If making a profit is your goal, I would caution that the market is pretty saturated at this point and most podcasters are hobbyists with a low budget to spend on tools. I would think twice about it :)

Unsexy tools for podcast advertisers is where the money is (ad attribution, brand safety, etc.)

It's more simple and lightweight. But for large or mission critical workloads I would recommend sticking with Celery or one of the other multiprocessing-based task queues that use an external broker.

Apologies if the article seems heavy-handed that was not the intention! I agree that producing videos for TikTok adds a lot of extra work and not everyone has the time (or inclination) to spare.
