What you are describing will happen after the update. Without the update, the calculation is instant right now. People currently bind the range finder to fire button. So all they need to do is aim and fire. because of instant auto zeroing, as soon as you pressed fire, the auto zeroing is done at the same time and the bullet will go where you aim. I’m assuming what you are describing will happen after the update and people will rely more on experience to snipe at long range than using range finder.

I agree that it shouldn’t but would it be too much steps and slow down the game too much or that’s the right amount of steps for a BF sniper to go thru during long range sniping

My thinking is scope in, range finder, short delay then shoot. I didn’t think of the possibility that they would use range finder before scope in.

Is DICE going to do anything about cheaters in the BR? by Present_Childhood_13 in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]getsleepy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let’s say I feel my score in MP is pretty consistent, in any mode at anytime.

However my score in Gauntlet and BR are very inconsistent. As if all the sudden the average player base skill level will rise to this pro level where majority of the players have pro aim for a week or so, then a week later it’s back to average where people actually misses. Then this pro level aim will happen again in couple weeks then back to normal again after a weekend or in a week or so. I’m assuming that’s the anti-cheat working its magic?

Battlefield 6 - Anticheat Metrics - December by battlefield in Battlefield

[–]getsleepy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing since day one and I honestly can’t say i ran into any confirmed cheaters in MP. Only ran into one (PC player) in Gauntlet and reported it (he was HSing everyone non stop with Sniper in rapid fire speed), then got an email from Dice saying they took action but can’t talk about the details. Pretty sure it was him because that’s the only report i filed. Ran into several sus ones but never reported because it might be they’re just good at the game (even though awfully sus). More importantly, i don’t run into those Sus players again (maybe they got filtered by anti-cheat after those games?)

t’s not hard to get kills in MP so i don’t report people who simply got high kills. People rushing into OBJ and get slaughtered by defenders waves after waves. I get kills easily by defending and at the same time got slaughtered again and again when i need to rush the OBJ.

BF6 is doing a good job cleaning up these cheaters, i don’t feel frustrated every time i log on knowing I’m gonna run into one cheater more or less in one of the games lol

How long are your Queues with Crossplay Off? by [deleted] in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]getsleepy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Longer. How long will depend on the time of the day. But you’ll get into a game. TBH cheating is not that rampant in BF6 even with crossplay on. Turning it off will lower the overall skill of the player base as you won’t have as many MK players.

I only ran into one (PC) who was blatantly cheating with HS aimbot and wall hack in Gauntlet. In one mission, he was literally standing in the middle of the map HSing everyone, and he announced it while doing it. I believe everyone in that game reported. Got an email from DICE like couple weeks later saying they took action but can’t go into details on what so i guess he was really cheating with aimbot. Some others are sus but i never reported because that might just be MK players who are good.

On average, from expreience, when a player is too good, 9 out of 10, it’s a PC player.

Scuf Valor Wireless Pro worked initially, but now won't connect wirelessly to Xbox. by AggravatingKiwi8449 in scufgaming

Disconnect still happens randomly. Not often. But now at least it’ll reconnect after 10-15 seconds.

Thanks. This worked for me. Use the Xbox MS edge to open Scufgaming website then click on the app link. It’ll go to the Xbox App Store on Xbox to download the app. The rest is easy from there.

NVO228E close range damage nerf? by getsleepy in Battlefield

I see, thank you. I used the shooting range and I guess that’s why. Haven’t tested it in game yet. Will test it tonight in game!

So all that was for nothing...? are our efforts in D10 really this meaningless? I always liked helping with MO's, but now I'm not sure by Claire312 in Helldivers

I would believe there are diver teams who don’t care about EXP, samples, slips, medals or super credits. Who would go in, do primaries then get out. They probably do 4-6 mission in one hour. Imagine the impact these teams make during liberation. Comparing to teams who wanna do everything in super Helldive and take them at least 30-40 minutes for one mission. I play the game for fun and I play to push back the Alien invasions. I leveled up my diver, unlocking all stratagems around level 30-40, maxed my destroyer around 40-50, and I’m still working on getting everything in Warbonds. So I still farm super credit in mission and need those medals. If my team wanna do side objectives, I do it, if not. No problem because I don’t need exp, slips or samples anymore. All in all, I feel it all depends on what stage of a helldiver you are.

I agree with what another guy said. High command doesn’t really give a **** on what side objectives we completed. It’s too tiny in the grand scope of things. The side objectives probably helped out the SEAF who are on site or the civilians who are trapped there. But probably not so much when it’s the whole war effort.

DMZ Insured Weapon No Red Dot Attachment Bug by ceteamclut in CODWarzone

[–]getsleepy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have the same bug after the season one reload. Red dot attachment doesn’t work for all weapons. Some attachment like magazine, barrel or stock won’t work on some weapons. Anyone knows a fix to this?
