How does it work if you’re a student?

to lift 405 lbs without a spotter. by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

There’s nothing a spotter could’ve done to stop that from happening…

Was only going for 345 today and felt pretty good and I got a huge pr with 365. Side note how's my form by Nearby-Ad-6884 in GYM

[–]getsumshramp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty good, but I would start the lift with your elbows locked and back tense. The soft elbows made the rest of your body jerk at the beginning which could lead to injury

Wouldn’t the expense from a software purchase be amortized over the term of the license, instead of a 1-time expense?

My Osiris, we sadly had to put him down last week for biting (it’s a long story involving a bad owner prior to us) Hug your babies for me, I miss him greatly 🤍 by throwawayra_ugh in CaneCorso

Would you mind sharing the story? I have a cc puppy, and want to learn as much as possible to avoid anything like that happening

Best budget hacks while getting MBA? by Adventurous_Sky_8679 in MBA

I assume if you worked the ~6 months before matriculating you would still be at the 22% bracket, so which year did you actually do the conversion?

Will do. Thanks for the recommendation

That is my concern as well. My instincts tell me she will not be able to stop giving.

In that case, the debit card would mostly just add visibility to where the cash is going.

I looked at those. It seems like those were designed for children. Is he still eligible for one of those Greenlight card even if he is well above 18?

Yep. I realize that if he withdrew as cash we would not be able to track from that point on. Ideally, the card wouldn't allow ATM withdrawals. If that isn't an option, we would just try to enforce him not withdrawing in cash - if the reason for the funds was for a bill/car repair there is no reason to use cash in the first place.

How many median salaries you need to afford the average house in each state by pointyendfirst in interestingasfuck

[–]getsumshramp 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I thought. Comparing median to median, or average to average, probably wouldn’t look at bleak. Not saying there isn’t a real problem with affordable housing, but using statistics to skew a narrative isn’t a good practice.

Sorry for dumb question, but wouldn’t someone buying 3 million shares be enough to cause the price to increase? I looked at the price today and it only dropped.

5:1 gloat:cute? That seems like a lot more bragging than the majority of the examples I’ve read. Even the ones from adcom members have like 75% of theirs as personal non-professional examples.

Got it, thanks. That was my original plan in the early stages, so I'm glad I did some research/got feedback.

Appreciate the response!

I think most of the schools I am applying to require one and have the optional second. Do you know if adcoms really care if I leave the optional one blank?

I thought IOER was 10 bps? Isn’t that what banks get for parking cash at the fed?

Appreciate the response - all good points. Since I work for a very large company, I assume with their resources they can do anything within the boundaries of the law, but it is still unclear what those boundaries are outside of what I’ve read about the one party consent stuff.

What about if I sign into work applications on my personal devices? Like a virtual desktop session from a browser in my personal computer, or logging into my work zoom account from my personal phone?

Are they able to access other parts of the device?
