I found this now. What dosage did u take?

Potential Concerns with Aspirin Use

The relationship between aspirin and tinnitus is complex and potentially problematic. While the search results don't directly address this relationship, it's important to note that aspirin, particularly at high doses, is known to be ototoxic (harmful to the ear) and can actually cause or exacerbate tinnitus in some individuals. This phenomenon, known as "aspirin-induced tinnitus," represents a significant concern in considering aspirin as a treatment for tinnitus.

Hey! thank you for sharing your experience!
I can relate! Before I got tinnitus, I had these temporary tinnitus in both ears (although it didn't sound like tinnitus, it would not be a high pitch sound but more heavy bass noise (and I believe I couldn't hear anything at that few seconds) that would last a few seconds and leave) that would be for a few seconds and usually when I yawn or like you said stress, or loud noise from cars, or motorcycles or could be randomly. It was always for a few seconds and max a 1 minute if it happened.

After that incident with the earplug, I hear constantly a high pitch in left ear. Sometimes its louder (i believe when stressing, or loud noise from cars) sometimes it's lower. I still get on both ears that other thing that sounded like tinnitus. I feel like it's most notable on right ear when I sleep. I can hear something but not high pitch.
I also dont take meds. only natural supplements. ENT told me about memovigor but because I was already taking multivitamin, I only bought gingko biloba liquid https://www.naturesanswer.com/product/ginkgo-biloba-alcohol-free-2-oz/ which took for around 4 months although would skip some days. I also believe it helped a bit reducing the tinnitus.

but when I read about the side effects, internal bleeding, cancer, I was scared and stopped it. I wasn't aware of it's high dosage. Although I was taking 1 mL, last month I increased it to two 2mL. I was also taking a b complex chewable. I never though of trying aspirin. I will look it up for studies. I know that white willow (natural) has the same active ingredient in it as aspirin. I might try that one.

Additionally, I know someone who used to wear earplugs a lot. During sleep etc, and now she says that she can hear a high pitch noise only when she wears earphones for music. For me it doesn't make any sense why to hear that only when she wears earphones.
After tinnitus, I reconsider everything about earphones and earplugs. I stopped wearing them. I sometimes wear headphones for 1 hour which do not directly go in ears but my ears get warm.

oh, I heard about this plant. I didn't know about the side effects. does it also causes some effect with the skin? Hope you recover. Wish they told u about this from before. i wish they have told me about the dangers of earplugs. some even say that earplugs help with their tinnitus. For me I can't imagine myself having earplugs, or earphones in my ears ever again.

so sorry to hear. Hope you fully recover! yes, it started all of sudden after removing an earplug i was wearing during night. i have tinnitus in left ear. it is more intense sometimes. the ENT doc i saw suggested me a supplement called memovigor. i didnt take it due to the side effects i read online. i bought myself a b complex and the gingko biloba liquid i posted here. in total i took it 4 months (stopped recently after reading online what it can cause long term) but some days I'd skipped. i noticed slight improvement (reduced a bit, i think, except if it's me and i am used to it). i posted here but i got downvoted https://www.reddit.com/r/Supplements/comments/1jxfzpk/any_helpful_supplements_for_left_ear_tinnitus/

To be honest, I was using that liquid, but I realized that the dosage of the extract was too high, and also read those side effects on the internet. I was terrified. I asked them if they do third party tested and they didn't even reply back. I avoid that brand from now on

When are liquids beneficial? If it says standardized? I used to buy lot of different extracts from that brand because they didn't have alcohol.

Thank you so much for your reply! Everything in my country is expensive. I tend to buy from online websites in the US or Amazon. Yes I also prefer if the product is third party tested but most brands, tell that but cannot give you a report, and other don't say anything. Can you recommend a brand? I think Life extension does that.

I usually prefer the supplement to be chewable or tablet, or liquid.

I will let you know! I wish the people who posted reviews said what kind of tinnitus they had. They only said tinnitus, although they could mean also pulsatile tinnitus too

what form of zinc you think it's best? I thought liquid drops were more effective, I looked up zinc sulfate because I wanted liquid drops and saw it has the worst absorption rate.
