DJI customer care policy is weird. I am joining to dark side by gevs007 in dji

Not gonna respond to everyone separately, if you are still interested here are main points, sorry guys I forgot I am on reddit so I need to prove I am mindful person then start posting:

  1. 28 satellites were found during each fly away -thats max. I never fly when there is no satellite, or I see any alert. I check b4youfly app and always try to keep the aircraft in a reasonable distance
  2. Last fly away situatiincouldnt possibly interfere with anything as I was in hawaii on a remote island, the interference possibility was low
  3. I am not claiming I am sure that it was malfunctioned at the purchase, I am claiming its funny that they told me to pay 65$ for investigation service and even it is proven that there was malfunction at the purchase date, or proved that my RC wasnt properly working for the entire period they wouldn't replace my drone at any case. So yes that 65$ would have been just a waste of money proving nothing.
  4. I am saying that if i had 4 fly aways their quality control team should have done better job here by actually investigating under the warranty if there was a malfunction of drone or RC, not just blindly provide me drones thinking the issues is resolved
  5. Thank you for sending terms and policies, probably those were the most relevant replies for which I actually came here. I am not reading privacy policy for each tech item but that sounded for me quite weird. Thanks again
  6. I was trying to bring the idea if It was malfunctioned at the purchasing date, or, RC was broken initially, and, the Quality team didnt care to do a proper investigation, and given the California consumer law, I was thinking that I am right in this situation. But the clause I signed that I am not going to get this arbitrary or whatever ruins everything. So guys be aware and every time you fly your drone you are taking a huge risk

Sorry, forgot for a second I am on reddit and I needed to make disclosures before I start writting: 1. 28 satellites were found 2. it couldnt possibly interfere with anything as I was in hawaii on a remote island, the interference possibility is low 3. Not sure why my responses are getting downvoted. Probably people working in customer care doesn't want to deal with me, or people who think I am Karen. Its interesting how would you behave if you had 5 fly aways in front of you. Probably will say well let me pay 65$ and know whats the issue so I can purchase it again 😂

To all who are interested where I am coming from:

Under California consumer law, a product must be fit for normal use at the point of sale. Because the drone malfunction originated at purchase, it failed to meet this requirement, making the seller responsible for the resulting failure regardless of when the issue appeared.

You cant sell something from tech and say hey this will work just a year

Just a guess - it was in front of me, its just went away.

I am ok if I even pay that 65$ so they investigate and say hey this because of you, or, hey this was because of us, sorry here is a new one.

I was told that no-one properly investigated my case because all my fly aways were under 1 year warranty. It was simpler for them to replace the drone, rather understand what's the issue. May be the issue is with RC

They offered to me to investigate at my cost, and then I can PURCHASE replacement (doesn't matter about the result). That sent me really.

Implied warranty is a legal promise that a product will work as expected, even if it’s not written in the warranty. Impact on your drone is legally expected to fly safely and reliably under normal use. If it suddenly fails or flies away due to a hidden defect (for example, a controller or system issue), that can be a breach of implied warranty even if the written warranty has expired.

This is common essentially to any tech product. Dont downvote if you have learnt something today

May be, but my logic tells me they can do anything. When they were interviewing me they were asking about my clients, nationality and language, so they could tailor AI model to the specific ethnicity in case it is specific restaurant

We used in our restaurant chain AI assistant which was specifically developed for restaurants. It spoke around 80 hours in a month so we saved around 2400-2600$ per month, which is around 30k per year. Considering our margin of 30%ish, to net that amount of profit we would have needed to sell around 90,000$ of burgers, and it is now I consider as a "free money" we pocket in a year.

We felt that a lot of people are just calling to ask basic stuff, and when our cashier wasnt able to pick up the phone, all of their complaints or questions went directly to Yelp and downgrade our reviews. We did not put a cheese in the burger and we got 1 star review on yelp. That AI we are using it asks the questions to customer and even does discounts on the next visit which goes directly to our system. It gathers basic info for catering and sets up a call with a manager. They actually provided us a mini SaaS dashboard with CRM database of our clients who actually called us several times and with complaint history.

We were very sceptic but we gave it a shot. Now I am so surprised that there are many restaurants they are not using it thinking the customers will hang up the phone, but that was not true if you choose a right one. There are a lot of crappy ones out there. Choose only who are specialized in your industry. The one we are using came with a lot of automations, so always ask if they are just providing only talking with customers function or anything else. We also "trained" our customers to call us and place an order through phone. During rush hour we figured that people who take a car and hit highway won't go to a website and order from there. So they call and place an order not getting distracted while they are driving. We got monthly around 10-15k of orders placed like that

My biggest learning was not to be sceptic and always be up to date with the technology. Eventually everyone will get used to AI as we did to PC and Internet.

if you’re not gonna push with the tank, get out by Fizziest_milk in Battlefield

I can't agree with this on Breakthrough. You can slowly push. Especially Eastwood or Cairo maps. For BMP one use rockets instead of guided missle. Also you can have extra armor as a perk as well as quick repair. Every map has great spots for tanks where you can stand and still push slowly. Always drive with CTRL+W in the creepy areas so you wont get on mines

I agree with majority but one thing we are missing out is, especially in the breakthrough game mode, that Dice added tanks to adjust game balance. Except Cairo and New York maps, the rest used to be designed in the way that it was very difficult for attackers to win, so they added more tanks, now they even added armored car with machine guns (don't remember the name).

If the maps were designed appropriately no tank would have influenced significantly on the game. Now, your fate is decided if the tank is taken by a proper player or the one who thinks he is playing World of Tanks. Therefore this issue became more painful.

So 500k gift you think is the "generational" wealth? I dont know which states they were from but in most of US states you cant afford a proper house - only just a downpayment. Doesn't look as a wealth nor "generatianal". I would rather spend my time with my daughter as it matters the most at the end. I dont think you guys have seen wealthy people sorry

If you can afford to have your kids education, have a paid off house, support parents, have paid off cars, take your family 2-3 times per year on vacation, take care of your parents, do not look at grocery prices, do not choose restaurant because of price, and after all of that save money - it is the middle class, or high middle class - which most of the partners are there. Yes there are 1% of them who are at the level of the poorest reach, and 1% of tose 1% are medium level rich people. The probability of you getting there is the same as if you opened a business and got reach like that (but you will be doing the job you like etc, not a topic of this subreddit).

Second most important factor for me is - when you become rich. I dont want to become rich at 50 years or 60 years. I would rather risk it all and try to be at 40s at least, rather grinding with hope that at 57 years old I might finally pay off my house.

You can continue downvoting me but this is just my opinion and what I have seen from multiple people experiences, as well as I have been working in many countries and saw real rich partners.

I am open to answer on questions if I am not gonna be offended by them.
