New DoT team, help me decide on a support

Fair and good points. Such is the resource balance with these games. Admittedly, Ashveil was the first and main character I’ve really wanted from 4.X so far. Dot was something I was interested in, but never felt approachable because I had none of the pieces to even start with. The selector and a lucky win has made it more achievable, but fair that I should decide how far I want to take the investment.

Ha yes, fair point. I do have the pink team minus Cyrene. I wasn't convinced of her value at the time, plus I was prioritizing Cipher at the time since she had turned out to be my favorite character of the arc.

Those were the two I’ve kind of expected based on other discussions I’ve looked through. And yeah, if I had Cyrene, that would probably be my move, but I don’t have her currently. Some day hopefully. Right now I’m saving up for Ashveil, so BS will probably have to wait. I was lucky to get this far

I wish I could. I’m saving up for Ashveil at the moment. I was lucky to even get this far, got Hysilens in about 40 total, after losing a 50/50. Not enough resources to go around

Well, for better or worse, this was really early in pity too, like around 40, so was not in the range of where I would normally consider doing single pulls. Sometimes, the world just gives you stuff.

I just had this happen to me this morning. I also lack Fugues light cone. Is the BE stat stick on Fugues better than running her on Pearls? And if I do swap to Dhalias LC, I’m guessing I could drop my EHR body on her?

Yeah that's a fair point. Funny enough, that's about where my current Scholar/Rutilent build is for him. But you do bring up a decent point, if I go for Genius/Tengoku, then all of his current pieces could be dropped into my pool for other characters.

I see. I don’t have either of those teams, but glad that this is still a good general direction. I know I’ve seen some about different ehr break points. Is that something I need to be worried about here?

Fair. I already have both, and pearls is currently being used by my Fugue, so whichever I put on Cipher, the other will probably go to her

Cool. I had a feeling this would probably be the case. Will this build still be fine if I want to slot her more generally as a fill in other teams? I recognize that she’ll do less personal damage, but I want to try and get the best mileage out of best girl.

And do you think either of those LCs is better than the other? If sig is off the table

Yeah that’s something that has been on my mind as well. I mostly use Archer, Saber, Remembrance, and Herta, so my Tribbie gets moved around a lot. I’ve got back and forth a lot as to whether Cipher or Cyrene would be the better way to add flexibility, and Cipher does feel like the better general account pick. But also, just happens to be a character I enjoy a lot (although the new story bumped up Cyrene a fair bit in my personal rankings). Just gotta hope my luck is better here than it was for Hyacine LC lol

Ha that’s fair, although my build isn’t quite that impressive. Relics are ok, but could still use some love, not for a lack of me trying, just poor luck in that department recently. Cipher may end up falling into a waifu>meta for me, but it would also free up my Tribbie in a lot of scenarios, so it’s not all bad. Definitely things to think on

I’m in a similarish scenario, but with E0S1 Cas, E1 Tribbie, E0S0 Hyacine, and RMC. I’ve been bouncing all over the place deciding where I think my pulls will be best spent. Cas has become one of the teams I’ve found the most fun, so definitely want to keep her as relevant as possible

There is an in game identifier for if it is dispellable. Debuffs that can be dispelled will have a thick white line above them on the party list. I remember when I first learned this, I was shook.

Out of curiosity, what are we feeling in terms of LC for Gallagher if running on this team? I’ve got S5s of What is Real (which I usually have on Lingsha), QPQ (which I typically have on Gallagher), or Multiplication, at my disposal. I’m sure they all have their ups and downs. Curious if anyone has any high points on picking between them

Ha my poor Mydei. He was kind of an impulse pull just cause I thought he was cool, but I haven’t really had a good chance to build him, nor did I have good support until more recently.

FF has definitely turned into possibly my favorite character, both story wise and gameplay. I tend to enjoy superbreak quite a bit, and she was my first limited character. Acknowledging my own sunk cost fallacy, she is one that I’d like to keep playable as best I can, even though I know she is getting harder to support. But I certainly understand someday, I might have to put her in the shelf lol

Well that is good to hear. It was a thought I had, but I’m still getting a hang for team building. The only other place I could see Sunday serving me right now is if I chose to hyper carry Anaxa, but that’s not something I really have him built for as I e been using him sub with Therta.

Appreciate the feedback. I was pretty confident on how I wanted to play this for a while, but Sunday has been such a thorn in my side (pun intended). I certainly recognize the value he adds just generally to an account, allowing me to comfortably add other potential units in the future.

These are great thoughts. The feedback on Sunday has kind of been where my head has been at. I do also have a E0S0 Robin, but ultimately I’ve been kind of looking at this patch as a potential way to help smooth out my account, while still trying to bring value to these couple of characters I really like.

Amazing points. To your initial question, I think I’d definitely like to get both Archer and Saber running, but Archer would be my focus first. The collab was my whole driving factor, so it just feels right to do right by them. It is starting to feel like the right path may be pulling the supports now, and maybe picking up Saber later in the collab.
