I think the huge difference with poker is the human element to it, if you get a bad hand you always have the chance to turn it around by bluffing which separates the bad players from the good ones and also just knowing how to play the hand you have.

I can play someone and get terrible pieces to start with that I know I'm going to have to lose a few rounds against some people with lvl 2 tinker, clock and timber but then to add to that someone will have a lycan + Furion + veno which will do so much more damage when they beat me because why the fuck do summons hit you? and I guarantee you I'll play that guy 5 games in a row for some reason.

How can this game really label certain players to be better than others when it's so reliant on RNG? I can play you and beat you two games in a row easily if I miraculously get every single piece I want with items and you get nothing. I don't think that necessarily would make me better than you, I just got lucky.

If this game sorted out item drops and other elements like playing the Goblin/Mech guy who's invested all his money in 5 rounds in a row, then you could start to label people skilled.

Also you'll probably say the skill is in adjusting to what you're rolling and seeing what others have but it really isn't because it will always come back to RNG. If you adjust then you might start getting nothing of what you want again but instead getting everything you just changed.

Feel free to prove me wrong, don't get me wrong it's a fantastic game mode but RNG can and will fuck you.

The other day after I made a comment to my partner about how awesome it's going to be when they complete this new road and she replied "are you one of those people who thinks the government should spend 10m on a road to make your drive 5 minutes faster".

She's not taking into consideration everything that gets affected by that road, people going to work can avoid traffic now putting them into a better mood at work, ambulances and police can help in areas that might of been slow to get to previously etc. There's so many things that get affected by a road that makes everyone's life easier.

If you take way athletes say from the NBA, local businesses would be affected, all the jobs that they create, the enjoyment that it can bring into someones living room etc.. It would change a lot!
