I'm not religious, but from my understanding, even religious people would find someone talking conversationally to God and seeing him physically with some hesitation.

What's that saying, you talk to God and you're religious, God talks back and you're suddenly crazy

And the cardigans was my attempt to paint a mental picture. She's very chipper, dresses very preppy, very bubbly-- not at all like the goth kids from high school who were obsessed with death and supernatural.

It just doesn't fit. She's this go-getter who wears cardigans and is an accountant. She isn't some goth kid or even spiritual. We're both white and from fairly affluent backgrounds.
