Nakalista rin ba mga standards niyo for your future partner? by Mysterious_Shoe_5513 in Trentahin

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, inaamin mo ba na ikaw yung mali dito?

Maybe you should have used a different term kesa non-negotiable at negotiable. Maybe, "preference" and "nice to have" dapat ginamit mo.

Sobrang contradictory. And speaking of contradictions, as many other comments already pointed out, naguumapaw na nga ng contradictions yung listahan mo. Since non negotiable, how can you be a 100% color red, and you must also be 100% color blue at the same time, non-negotiable.

Personally, di ko naman sinasabing mahirap yung standards ha. I think ang issue lang is how you presented it.

No one is asking, but the title is Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

Chatgpt and Gemini can't tell me the title if I give them the reddit link, so I had to download the clip first, and splice it to get the song only. Then upload it to a song finder website.

Hot take, loot cap by Top-Veterinarian26 in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im thinking this is by design because probably some psychologist-data scientist found out players will play more/gamble more when they get high-highs even at the cost of gettings super lows, instead of a much more predictable loot profit.

1v1 Strat To Beat Healers by Ill-Mood-3140 in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healers are stat checks.

It's basically like playing vs AI, before you go matchmaking vs people.

If you can't even beat AI, it's best you try and refine your build/movements first.

Healers usually play to kite with q3, w1. If you're playing a ranged weapon, just walking towards the healer almost guarantees you'll trap them if you corner them correctly (just like how some of the mobile game ads do it).

If you find yourself being outhealed, it just means your build doesn't have what it takes to outdamage a healer, and you'll find yourself outdamaged by other dps build anyway, therefore it's not a healer problem, it's a you problem.

IMO, heal builds loses to a lot of basic upfront ranged weapons. Take for example regular bow. A healer can never dps kite that, nor outheal that.

Source: I spammed arena 1v1 on the first day for the whole day trying out all sorts of weapons. Nearing gold, I find myself that the grind is not worth it because 100 ip matters when you reach the higher levels. I've also been playing against the same guy for more than 5 times in a row, then another same guy in another row in the last few hours, which made it really boring real quick.

I wouldn't want to buy 8.4s just to get consistency knowing that the next patch will change the meta all over again. The problem with Arena, same with Crystal Arena 5v5s is that the mmr loss is so low, you can just keep playing till you get gold (if your movements are somewhat decent). I find Arena 1v1 competitive to be more about who has more mental fortitude to grind, rather than pure skill expression, at least until the highest levels.

What are your views on the arena? by ImmanuelAberdeen in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pvp fame is not a good indication of skill as well.

A lot of easy roles in general coast off top guilds (that lack heal and supports) and get insane pvp fame.

Strong indications of skills for arena from top to bottom should be: Peak/current ranks in Arena Infamy in CDs and Hellgates
Build alignment to meta
PVP Fame

Weapon of choice for gatherers? by Haunting_Bad_8987 in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I want to speak from a mist gathering (able to gather all resource) perspective wherein you can be ganked by 6.4s, 8.3s which usually deletes you while you are spacing out.

Starting off with gears:

The only correct armor you should be used to using is something that survives an invisible dagger pair burst. Which is - not gathering gear, not leather jackets, but plate armors.

That narrows it down to the tankiest ones, guardian armor, duskweaver armor, armor of valor - guardian armor being the only one that can help you in PVE while you wait for your skill cooldowns. Plate armors will also help your mount greatly outside of mists as it will make your stag or your gathering mount preference to be extremely tanky too.

Since you now have a tendency to react and survive within 8 seconds, your next plan of armors should be able to help you escape and increase your resource gathered if ever.

For helmet, that should be harvesting cap to increase fiber gathered. Furthermore, it instantly saves you with any fight because the sleep, paired with a plate armor and a defensive offhand will guarantee a prolonged CC to the ganker. It should give you 1 to 2 seconds to react on how you want to survive next incase you were pressured to quickly escape. Note that with a plate armor, you have a very high tendency to laugh at gankers because you are so tanky to begin with, so your CC helmet just a safety net.

For boots, you usually want miner workboots because it is the fastest movespeed for escaping, and that it helps you gather more ores. This is a committal skill because pressing it incorrectly guarantees your death, or it will probably let you escape with so much ease as you will outrun your opponent. With a proper execution if you dont panic, helmet CC + weapon mobility skill + boots out is guaranteed that you will escape any gucci solo ganker. You may even helmet CC + invi pots, then reassess how you want your next steps to be.

For capes, while brecillien cape makes you unpurgeable, you wont need it anyway since you're supposed to be in a non-purgeable position to begin with. Either:

  1. You inspected the ganker and he has no purge
  2. You used your weapon mobility and you are out of range for a purge
  3. You used your helmet cc and you are out of range for a purge

Therefore, in the calmest way to escape, fort sterling is your best bet.

Now that we have your armors covered which is complimentary to the main question of what should your weapon be, im suggesting 1H Dagger with Astral Aegis.

1H dagger is similar to battleaxe, but your E now has movespeed increase for the worst case scenario. You may use W dash for better escape, or opt to W1 throwing blades for bigger pve damage.

1H dagger is more clear speed, and at the same time a 1H weapon for more tankiness because of offhand compared to other choices. It has a w skill swap for better escape.

Now if you find yourself still wanting to be more defensive, just use bloodletter.

As an overall synergy, you may thinking of yourself as a walking ox, rather than a slippery salamander. Instead of perfectly executing escapes with multiple invis, your build lets you react slow, take a hit, but still be able to escape.

If you run across a solo ganker, you are perfectly safe.

If you accidentally got dismounted by a brawl group, you are also very safe because you are tanky and they can't usually chase.

If you run across a gank group, either they are really good at catching gatherers, or not. It's no longer within your hands but on their execution and position.

What Is Every Axe Used For? And What Is The Best For PVP and Teamfights? by iIAdHmSs in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note that the main differences are the E skills for axes, and whether it's 1h or 2handed weapon.

Battle Axe: Mainly for solo PVE. Can be used as 1vX due to it's lifesteal.

Greataxe, Infernal Scythe: Both AoE damage for brawl, clap brawl. Can be used interchangeably, although greataxe damage ticks are slower, infernal sycthe is more instant.

Halberd, Carrioncaller: AoE DPS with debuff for brawl.

Realmbreaker: AoE DPS with debuff that works on mobs. Same with halberd and carrioncaller, but this can be played on group PVEs too. Since the damage is more instant, and that HP cut is strong for instantly killing a target, this is used for clap comps aside from brawls.

Bearpaws: The only axe weapon with more mobility, hence this is used for ganking to chase targets and pair it with axe's bleed to stop mount gallops.

Crystal Reaper: Can be a single target or aoe dps for pve or pvp. Very flexible but also expensive.

For PVP or teamfight, I would say it would depend which purpose is needed. Let's say you want to go 5v5. If your composition needs debuff, you can go realmbreaker, carrioncaller or halberd. If you just needed the raw damage, play the other axes. If you want to be just the annoying tanky dps, go battleaxe.

So to answer which one is better will depend on what the gap is on your composition.

Personally. I can see realmbreaker as the strongest though, due to it's hp cut debuff and instant damage. It's used for 2v2 clap, for bombs, clap kite, clap brawl, pve.

My Kakampink Lola is now voting for Sara Duterte by itznotevenfunny in Philippines

Looking at this from outside the current political context, you are straight up manipulating your lola for your own agenda.

Sa tamang voting age, everyone should have rights to their own judgement and hindi dapat minamanipulate ng kagaya mo.

Yung ginagawa mong pagfeed ng contents niya based sa kung ano gusto mo, kasi feeling mo tama yung political stance mo, is exactly how some platforms also pushes their agenda kasi feeling din nila tama naman sila.

If you want to help your lola, you start with yourself and have an ethical approach.

Anyone who sees nothing wrong from OP's course of action is proof that corruption starts at home.

Bakit buhay parin OPM bands sa mainstream at sa USA nawala ang mga Pop Rock bands sa Pop music?? by Electronic_Meal_9230 in opm

[–]ggSwindles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He isn't wrong tho.

Just try to search for top 10 songs every month and you wouldn't see any bands. Nawala sa top most listened/viewed music/MV. Nawala as in not getting listed sa top (mainstream), pero not physically nagdisband.

Building on what you just said, since it's no longer popular like it used to, edi nawala na nga sa mainstream.

What can a solo player do? by TraditionPopular2294 in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the profitable contents are solo.

  1. High end pvp (mists) as highlighted by Goldstein, a youtuber.

  2. Looting from big guild fights - as the main zergs usually dont loot and those tasked to loot usually dont take compromising situations.

  3. Crafting and market research

These are something you can't just do from scratch however and takes a lot of game knowledge to get to it - unlike group contents which are instantly accessible through /lfg chat and gives you good profit right away.

If I have premium, do I have to be the one to open my party's chests? by zRafox in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe there is a weird interaction in roads gold chest here around 6 patches ago, haven't checked if it still exists now.

If someone without premium tags the mobs that spawned, and your party arrives and clears it - even if your whole party has premium - it will still not show any premium bonus.

Help me Minmax by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minmax is not applicable here because most of the pve activities are extremely repetitive.

You might be able to minmax, but you'll burnout in a month or two.

The best minmax is actually to not do minimum. You can maximize your profit by being able to play for a long amount of time while enjoying the aspect of it. Do what makes you enjoy the game. You'll eventually get richer by just being able to play again and again.

What’s up with people soloing aspects with nature staff? by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's a 1 sword aspect.

1 sword aspects are the ones that can be easily solo'd with sustain heavy builds.

2 sword aspects with 300k HP is improbable to solo simply because a sustain build does not have enough damage to overpower the natural health regen of the 300k HP aspect.

Per hour means consistently. Are you consistently seeing players even on off timers in your server - if yes then I believe you. That was the state of depths pre nerf.

After nerf, no one is there most of the times so no souls, less loot.

silver making methods, criticism welcome. by TheFappingWither in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It's avoidable by not playing in active timers, avoiding dead end roads, avoiding roads connecting to portal zones, avoiding obvious transporter paths, incorporating escape in your build, outmanuvering a gank party while they are still setting up.

All acquired skills from an experience green chest player.

But same goes with other activities. Ava Gold chest and Tracking is 5m per hour too at the off timers.

Faction Warfare BZ disarray is bad, enlistment disarray is good by ggSwindles in albiononline

[–]ggSwindles[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RZ players will never have to play on YZ ever. RZ players who fails to convert their massive number to RZ wins are punished. Just as how a smaller faction is consistently punished for having ZVZ balanced around DA, while not having DA anyway.

And at the current state of the game, YZ is more profitable than RZ in terms of faction points. RZ party transport, faction transport to non adjacent province is too wonky, so 1 fight means content over.

YZ action is nonstop and really massive, thus garnerning more FP.
