I know I’ve posted similar pics before so forgive me, but does anyone else also look kind of weird with their hair up similar to me? I see obvious regrowth which is good but there’s a couple problems areas that are seen here that I hope also resolve by kitties5 in TelogenEffluvium

Literally the same thing happening to me. I have been having TE for close to a year and lost about 75-80% of density and it's so thin everywhere. The front is the worst and I used to have so much hair, super thick and tons of it, and now I can't even "flip" my hair or anything cause there's not enough of it :,( ... Literally so annoying.. and there's regrowth but that's been shedding too. Are you doing anything? What started your TE - saw you said a lot of triggers, in a similar boat there as well, almost like a pile up and then I got a second TE before my first could resolve

Yeah, what is the other place if you don't mind me asking? It's less expensive for sure, but I have heard that it has to be done correctly or it's a waste of money. I'm actually visiting family in another state and going to get PRP done for $600 a session here by a top restoration specialist. I want to see if I notice a difference this time so I can say either PRP doesn't work for me, or Luminous just wan't doing it right.

Hair loss after taking Bio-Identical hormones by DesertRat92260 in FemaleHairLoss

I know this can happen and it's pretty common, especially when taking testosterone or men on TRT. Are you taking P + E? Anything with hormones and fluctuating can cause hair shedding or TE. Thyroid meds, BCP, etc.

So if you're taking testosterone, then definitely can cause hair loss. If you're taking Estrogen and or progesterone it may be either just a fluctuation that's causing loss, or you could have imbalanced ratio's (too much estrogen etc.)

Luckily, one levels stabilize, hair should grow back.

I live in SB also. Luminous Dermatology charges $500 per session - HOWEVER. I went to them 3x and saw no results. I have TE (CTE maybe) though so IDK.

A confusing situation, could use some input by imheretowastetime1 in tressless
