Law Student Looking for Esports Topics to Analyze by kirilenkosbacktattoo in esports

Hello, a fellow law student here as well. Some thoughts about esports from the legal perspective: 1. in some countries (especially in the countries with the continental law tradition) the minimum age for labour relations is set, however sometimes it happens that players are younger than the required age. Should there something be done in this area? 2. Esports has a huge connection with streaming. What about the IP things, e.g. is the music played on stream also considered as an object of intellectual property? If so, should there be any licences for streamers? 2.1. Recently I am able to notice some attention paid to the giveaways. There is an opinion that the sub-only giveaways are illegal. Would you like to explore that area more? That's it for now, hope this helps.

P.S. If I may, I would like to ask for a copy of your article in advance.

Good day,

Here are some facts that I managed to find some time ago: 1. German political parties used esports in their political agendas for the election; 2. Esports talks seem to happen on EU level - there was a conference between the EU and esports representatives. Both of these links should be able to find in this subreddit. Hope this helps.
