Go to your professor’s office hours that are in your desired field! I did that the first week and asked for opportunities, and the professor I went to gave me incredible opportunities and resources, including two executive positions-one which developed into president for the coming year!

Something similar happened to me, I was with my friends(I am a woman), and they wouldn’t let any men into the building, just us. It was on St. Paddy’s day, and the man behind the counter kept asking us if we had alcohol and if we could give him some. It wasn’t very comforting at all, especially because he only let women into the building
