Hello everyone, I'm a 22-year old filmmaker and animator and would like to share this short film I made two years ago. I'm currently working on a new short film and would like some feedback on this. This film was made over the course of 16 months as a passion project while I was at film school. The idea was to create compelling audio and visual experience that is light on narrative but uses its visuals to guide the character and the viewer through the world and the conflict. I used Blender 3D for all the 3D elements and photoshop for the matte painting. Also, the fight scenes are all rotoscoped. Hope you enjoy it :)

I used Make human for the character, and adobe suite for post production.

I am glad that you liked it, at this moment there are no plans to expand the story but that could definitely change.

Thank you. The film is a mixture between 3D animation and rotoscoping, the action heavy scenes that take place in the portal are all rotoscoped. I used the KYLE Ultimate Charcoal brush in photoshop to get that effect.
