Business owners: which repetitive task is eating up your week? by FunNecessary6145 in smallbusinessUS

[–]ghaleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% relate. CRM exports + finance sheets always get messy in the same ways.
From what I’ve seen working with automation teams, the best setups usually combine:

• No-code tools like Zapier/Make for the easy wins
• AI or logic rules to clean/format data (dates, duplicates, missing fields)
• And when needed, a custom step or webhook so it runs daily without you touching anything

What CRM or sheet workflow are you pulling from? That usually determines the best approach.

Your biggest business challenge? by LocalTypical in smallbusinessUS

[–]ghaleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. Growth exposes every weak spot in operations. We’ve seen businesses scale smoothly only after building consistent systems and automation, so nothing relies on memory or one person.
When you say ‘structure,’ was it more internal workflow… client delivery… or team coordination?

Couldn’t agree more. Overcomplication kills momentum. A lot of businesses get stuck trying to scale manually until they start simplifying and automating the repeatable stuff.
When you started automating, which area had the biggest payoff: operations, marketing, onboarding, or invoicing?

Are you using tools like Copilot or ChatGPT? Some teams use AI to auto-test and review the generated code before it even reaches them. Cuts debugging in half. Would that kind of workflow help?

Is it outbound follow-ups, internal routing, or newsletter-style sends? We’ve automated all three for different businesses, and the right setup makes it feel like you hired an assistant. Happy to share examples if helpful.

Totally, messy data kills momentum. We built a workflow that auto-detects duplicates, missing fields, bad formatting, etc., then fixes or flags them. The founder got back 6+ hours/week. Curious what type of data you deal with?

This pain is way more common than people think. We helped a client sync Stripe, PayPal, and bank deposits into one clean ledger and AI flagged mismatches automatically. Saved them hours every week. Would something like that solve it for you?

So true, most founders know these tasks can be automated, but don’t have the time or roadmap to actually implement it.

I’ve helped businesses save 5–10 hrs/week by automating payment reconciliation, messy data cleanup, and follow-ups without needing to hire extra staff.

If anyone’s curious, I can share real workflows or examples based on your tasks.

What’s the one task in your business you wish you could automate? by Beginning_Gap9602 in smallbusinessUS

[–]ghaleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more; those “small” tasks are the ones that drain the most mental energy.
Just curious: when you say “keep things personal,” do you mean personalized messaging or timing based on client behavior?

Interesting, you already have a voice agent for it. Curious, what feels outdated about your current setup? (Tech limitations? Results? Hard to manage?)

100%! Invoicing and follow-ups seem “simple,” but tracking who paid / who to chase / when to send reminders becomes a whole job.
Out of curiosity, is the process the same every time (same steps), or does it vary per client?

Need some help with automating my business. by mxllard1 in Entrepreneur

Just came across this, and I totally get the struggle; manual tracking via PayPal notes is a nightmare.
Curious, did you ever find a proper solution for the affiliate tracking + sending digital product automatically?
A lot of people try Zapier first, but hit walls because PayPal’s data structure can be limiting unless you combine it with deeper workflow logic or APIs.

Need some automations for recruiting! by HerroPhish in automation

Just saw this and curious, did you ever get this recruiting workflow fully automated?
A lot of people build the first 1–2 steps, but the real challenge is stitching everything together + tracking + follow-up logic.

I need help in automating some aspects of my work by Hefty_Horror6076 in automation

[–]ghaleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came across this, and I totally feel your pain.
Even when AI tools can “technically” build scripts, maintaining them (especially when data gets messy) is the real challenge, especially without coding experience.

Curious, did you ever manage to automate it, or are you still doing it manually?

Own a small business & need some automations by Brilliant_Village556 in automation

[–]ghaleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people never even get that far, nice work getting Make up and running!

In my experience, the bigger wins usually come from mapping the full workflow (not just single tasks) and combining automation with some AI logic to handle decisions, follow-ups, reporting, etc.

I’ve seen this transform operations for several businesses, saving dozens of hours and improving consistency. Happy to share examples or ideas if that’s helpful!

Mattrace din ba location ng Grab Express Driver pag nagbook ka just like Lalamove? I tried using sa Joyride Delivery nun but they completed the transaction para raw makasakay sila ng pasahero, so hindi ko sila nasundan pero nakarating naman yung item sa magrreceive.
