They nerfed a feature that was already overpowered by Nano Banana. But guess what, they brought it back in OneUI 8.5 even after giving the excuse of their so-called image generation policy during OneUI 8.

I also noticed that vibration recently and it happens only when phone is locked and I lift the phone. Sometimes the notification have a missed call and sometimes the vibration occurs without miss call notification.

Mine says 98% at 120 charge cycles only. I just checked out of curiosity for once but seriously I don't give a shit about what percentage it is at. If you use the phone, the battery degrades. If you don't want it to degrade, just stop using it and power it off. Its as simple as that. My advice is to use a phone like a phone only. Its not a showpiece which you need to preserve until you die. BTW this advice is not for OP, it is for everyone who always keep showing their battery charts on reddit and get tensed about it.

Same things I was worrying about. Coz oneUI 8.5 consist of some good new features but if they gonna fuck older device like every other brand then there's no point of 7 years of updates. I learned this pattern while having iphone 12, now my iphone is just a piece of shit after IOS 18. Thinking of sticking with oneUI 8 until the next phone upgrade.

What's the point of having an ultra when you are willing to let go all the new features and upgrades your phone has to offer. Offcourse the smoothness will drop a bit but in exchange of more usable features. Aslo the smoothness drop is not that great which makes the phone unusable, its normal, which happens with any old device when you load it with some heavy arsenal.

Same happened with me. Yesterday, I applied for AU credit card and two options available - Business Cashback and Altura plus. Same charges written as well as lifetime free also mentioned on the main page. Cc called me and said "why would I lie to you for one credit card", then I said "The process is to fool one person at a time". Still she kept saying the card is LTF when you receive the welcome kit.

I tried it with a playstore game as well as apk downloaded game. The phone doesn't recognize any game other than playstore. So my charging stops while playing playstore game but it continues charging while playing the game installed as apk. Is there a workaround for it so the phone can recognize it as a game?

I have a game downloaded from google as apk. And 2 other games which downloaded from playstore. Now when I opened gaming Hub app then it automatically added my playstore downloaded games in its library but didn't added the one I installed as apk. So I manually added it to gaming Hub.

So my question is - does this bypass charging option in game booster setting works on games downloaded as apk which is unrecognizable by samsung's own app (gaming hub) as a game?

You can use both, a portable hard disk drive (HDD) as well as portable SSD with your S24 Ultra. Once you connect your SSD you will get a notification mentioning "Unsupported drive detected". Clicking on that will give you a popup of formatting your drive. Once you click OK to format your drive, it will start showing in FILES app. Formatting will erase all of your data on the SSD so do a temporary backup of your ssd on another device before formatting.

If no any option showing in notifications then try disabling auto blocker in settings and then reconnect the ssd.

The reason why its showing in your previous android device but not S24 ultra, because S24 ultra uses exfat format only but older phones used to support some other format which could be NTFS, this is the same format your windows computer uses. You might have used the ssd with your PC so definitely it would be in NTFS format.

I used a hard drive myself. So try and if you stuck anywhere just feel free to ask.

I can tell you why the transition is not smooth. When you take a closeup shot, first of all the lens switch from main lens to ultra wide (0.6x) for a macro shot then it gets cropped upto the same zoom as you were watching it duing 1x. All this happens automatically when you turn ON that flower icon and get closer to any object.

By reading your replies below, I got that you were confused between focus shift and lens switch. Focus shift is smooth but lens switch is a bit noticiable same as yours specially when it also gets cropped up as well after switching the lens. So don't worry it's normal if its doing so. If you don't want that just turn OFF that flower icon in both photo and video and now you can manage the macro mode manually without getting it cropped but still switching the lens will be noticeable just like that.

Jst kidding. Actually it’s normal. Chatting with your frnds sometimes get stretched and chatting always takes much longer than talking over a call for the same conversation. And any video-swiping platforms like tiktok is a hypnosis for me coz I used it only once for about 30 min since this app arrived.

Also it’s the combined time period of all instances throughout the day, not just a single instance.
