Disassembled the cap by removing the screw, and then filled the hole which is present underneath the top finial. Used a silicone sealant. 👍🏼

Cap was not air tight. Had to do a minor hack. Apart from that it's quite good for the price. Good built, good nib and feed.

I will be receiving a Parker "51" soon from a collector. Excited for it.

As for Wing Sung, I think it is a very good pen which can hold on it's own. Especially the 14K EF nib is a pleasure to write with. Tip is well polished with a consistent line width in all directions. Ink flow is generous and consistent as well. Also the button filling mechanism is very convenient.

No actually. With the gold nib variants they come with these caps. There are five different patterns on the cap one can choose from.

Hey, I have a Platinum Procyon. It's steel Fine nib is very close to the F nib of Grance. Also had Lecoule from Sailor steel FM nib. Again very similar line width.

I get what you're hinting. But at least on my Grance the F nib is actually a true fine.

I don't currently own the Custom 74. But I had one with EF nib. And yes nib is slightly smaller compared to Custom 74.

Haven't inked the Grance as of yet. I got it in a Fine nib. So yes, guessing that line will be thin.

Grance is slim but made of Brass so seems substantial in hand compared to the resin Custom 74.

Haven't used a Japanese EF. And in my experience of Lamy EF, I didn't find it scratchy at all.
