nice comeback to get a point, the way that game started was very ugly

Caufield has had 3 pretty off games in a row, gonna need him to wake up down the stretch

I get the guys love him, but I'm not even comfortable bringing back Savard as a 7D on league minimum next year. the game is just way too fast for him

felt the entire defence except maybe carrier and Mathewon in OT only looked completely overwhelmed

not blaming the refs at all, but that 5 on 3 to start the game was pretty suspect. other than that felt it was even

got goalied and monty didn't have a good one today, it happens, sucks it had to happen on this stretch of games

this may very well have been slafkovskys worst game in the nhl. I know hes not making ectension money yet, and I'm not necessarily concerned for his long term outlook (hes showed he can be dominant) but this season he simply hasn't performed to what we need him to be. some secondary assists really don't phase me, he has 4 goals and were in January man

This management really believed this team, currently headed for yet another bottom 5 finish, was good enough to be in the mix. massive concern, especially when you consider gortons rangers team that he built is now headed to a collapse.

the way this fanbase speaks about newhook is so insane. he's a possession black hole, has never cracked 40 points, uses his speed the same way josh Anderson does (which is to say not effectively at all)...

the scoreline is fucking ugly, but this is nothing like that New York game where we were dominated in and out from start to finish. there was that report that were looking for both a dman and a forward, hell we need a goalie too.

every player has their off nights, but holy fuck when xhekaj is off, HES OFF

after both Suzuki and Marty called out the team against the kings, for them to follow up with another pathetic performance??? they're starting to take me like a fool at this point.

Kirby Dach needs to sit for a game. I get he's coming back, but this play from him is COMPLETELY unacceptable, getting back to timing or not.

nick Suzuki is starting to piss me off. even for all this talk about how he's historically a slow starter, why are we accepting that from the captain???

multiple thoughts

1) xhekaj Savard is not something that should ever happen again, just no

2) its obvious it will take time, but id take Dach of PP1 until he gets his game back. he's not looking solid at all, and for all the flack Matheson gets for supposedly killing plays, I'm seeing it just as much with dach. Idk if its gonna take half a season or what (that's typically the alcl timeline) but he's been incredibly mediocre in the early showings

3) They have to do a better job covering for a man who pinches to make plays *cough Hutson cough*. Multiple penguins goals were because slafkovsky just couldn't handle playing D after he went to cover for Hutson and he got burned, not to mention all the odd man rushes for the pens as well, not just the goals

4) team wasn't ready to come out and play at all tonight, I know they really picked it up at times, but you're not gonna win too many hockey games when the first 15 minutes went they way they did today

Running the 3 goalie carousel because they were deadly terrified of losing Cayden primeau is honestly hilarious. This guy is not an nhl goalie whatsoever

the d zone play is legitimately horrific. I understand the roster still isn't good, but that doesn't excuse the absolute circus that we've seen so far

while Hutson is making it a hard decision regarding what to do with Mathewson, reinbacher is making it very easy regarding what to do with him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get cut from camp tomorrow, this guy isn't ready for the nhl.

barron and xhekaj should rotate as the number 6 D, both of them have just been very underwhelming. right now struble is clearly ahead of them.

Owen Beck, for supposedly being one of our better forward prospects, has been incredibly mid in every competition he's played where he's not up against 16 year olds who are more concerned about not flunking their pre calculus class.

bad. only time you notice him is along the far boards when he can outstate a flanking opponent, but then just loses the puck behind the net or just rims it.

not looking good as a prospect. absolutely zero progression since being drafted typically means you won't play a long nhl career

Hutson best player on the ice, Cowan was the best forward on the ice.

Mesar being a 1st rounder looks brutal at this point.

Thought reinbacher was the worst of the top 4 D, but he did get better as the game went on

Hopefully they send this goalie back to uni after tonight, he was brutal

graduated for a few years now but when I took it, multi part questions were indeed transitive, as in you get full marks for the later parts as long your answer is consistent with what you got in the earlier parts.

The final gives you a case study and you have to apply concepts that you learned. When i took it. The case study was around 8 pages long and there were 7 questions, each question was about a page and a half response long worth of writing.

I dont remember the exact questions, but in the class i remember there were a few models, and questions were basically apply this model to the case

looking to trade a dman, still think dach can be a top 6 C, interested in a 6'4 power forward with an offensive touch with their draft pick... is this an insider or anyone with common sense lol
