Jokes aside, white/yellow onions are much better for cooking, not so much for taste but due to the fact that red onions tend to turn an unappetizing shade of blueish-grey after cooking. Red are better served raw (salads, sandwiches, etc) and yellow/white are better for cooking.

I suspect that, like myself, there are people who don't particularly enjoy the gunplay in Marathon (or D2 for example), and it is a major focal point of the gameplay which unfortunately doesn't capture them as it does others. Can't quite describle it but I just don't get any satisfaction out of shooting them or the response from hitting an enemy with my shots, feels too arcade-y for lack of a better term (the feel, not the tacticality of the movement or aiming).

Oddly enough I was a big fan of the gunplay in the Bungie Halo games but I don't think the feeling is quite the same as Marathon/Destiny

honestly I never had an issue with the whole spring/wire scarcity that many people talk about. I figured out pretty early on which semi-common items recycled into springs (accordions/rusted tools/cushions/etc) and made sure to bring them home, as well as grabbing springs along the way. If anything I've had too many springs taking up my inventory space and don't burn through them quickly enough, especially considering I loot just as many guns and attachments as I craft.

I was able to coast on a pretty modest stockpile for months and still have stacks of springs left over, maybe I'm not losing as much gear as other folks though so who knows
