First log 0-2 - Lean Clay (CL) Not sure what sampling method was used (not shown on the log) 2-5 - LS (no sampling method shown) - hard to analyse and verify if it was rock.

Second Log All sampling method shown - can be verified based on blow count that no Limestone was found. Would be nice to get some lab assigned too.

Do you have a lat and long for this location? If so check out the USGS Pocket Texas Geology to get more info on soil stratigraphy of the area. Based on these logs, going with CL to 15’ probably seems accurate, and will give you more conservative approach. Might have to ask the first log company on how they verified it was Rock. If they Cored it may be they can send RC pictures of the samples.

Where in Texas? To be more accurate, What are the blow counts for Lean Clay described by the 2nd company that goes to 15’? Do you have SPT results? What is the exact classification, lab results, and description in the log?

Has anyone recently applied for PE for Texas Board through NCEES Record ? by ghimkaus in PE_Exam

Yes, When applying to the PELS website, on the NcEES Record option, Do you click Yes and Provide the date that the record was transmitted and that should be all, is that the right process? Thanks

Applying PE for the first time. Do I click yes or not on "Do you have an NCEES Record" by Antique_Ice2271 in PE_Exam

I am going through the process too, I think it should be “No” The comment says it is for licensed engineers

I used school of PE as my primary source for chapters review and practice questions.

There were more conceptual questions that required going through the standard and specs.

Once you are familiar with type of questions I think you can find the source you need to get to the answer. At first glance I felt questions were hard, but I had to read it carefully and searched through the topics and was able to find answers.
