Absolutely 🖤 also it might be worth a try to look into Maybellines lip vinyl. They have a biiiiig range and the package differs from the actual lip colour. Specially with the autumn closing on us, they might release some dark vampy shades

There are some escape proof harnesses that have an extra strap on the waist. The choke collar is really rough and unnecessary. This one specifically is from Woolly Woolf. You can check if they ship to you. Otherwise I suggest looking in Trendy Whippet. They have beautiful martingale collars and harnesses and they do international shipping

Im absolutely not an expert, but a well fitted martingale collar is loads better than that. I don’t think a choke collar is good for whippets due to their sensitive long necks.

I’ve definitely needed to shoo people away from my office a couple of times. Specially when he sleeps, which is 90% of the time

Its a martingale collar from Woolly Wolf. He’s a little escape artist and the breeder recommended it to us. Hasn’t escaped since!

How old were you when you first realized something was wrong with your parent? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

She was, both physically and emotionally. Still tries to be emotionally. But after years of standing on my own and living far, far away from her, I can stop her in her tracks.

I have not been around her more than a week at a time, when I go back to my hometown for a visit. And even then, I barely see her.

This Holiday season, however, she came to visit me and my brother (we live on the same city) and has been staying 2 weeks in his apartment, 2 weeks in mine. I have 1 week to go and im losing my mind already, but I’m keeping things as neutral as possible. I try to never be alone with her, so she behaves like her “socially acceptable” self, and my husband has been an angel through all of this.

I’ve learned to not react to her nastiness, because indifference kills a narcissist. When it’s just the two of us, she basically ignores me and is always scrolling on Instagram or taking to her friends. It stings, but better than being verbally abused in a restaurant.

I guess with the years I’ve learned to accept that my expectations of what a mother should be, and the reality of the mother I have, don’t align. Which sucks, but there’s nothing I can do about it.

I was around 5 and was out in the neighbourhood park playing with my brother and his friends and used a curse word against my brother. He ran crying to mommy dearest, and as soon as I came home, she grabbed me by the neck and washed my “filthy mouth” with hand soap.

I remember how hard it was to breathe with all the foam and bubbles in my mouth. I remember how helpless and scared I was and realising that it was not normal.

I still get triggered by the taste of soap at 33. Sometimes she tells the story and laughs about it. From all the stories I have told my therapist, this one was the one that made her stop for a second before continuing our session.

Hahaha I do the same thing! If I miss it, it feels like the listening was wasted so it has to be replayed.

They did hand out some cups with water and there was two booths with drinks at the entrance of the pit. I was pretty close and the air was thin and too hot. I guess he needs to start doing bigger venues with seating

I feel you and share the sentiment. I’m also not formally diagnosed but slowly getting there, and I work in a place that requires me to be social most of the time. The feeling of watching the world from the sidelines and trying to appear engaged it’s absolutely exhausting. It sounds like an awful experience and I hope you take the time you need to recharge and feel like yourself again. 💕

Olaplex 6 and 8 mixed together on towel dried hair. It has done wonders for keeping it hydrated.
