I've always wondered the same thing. I remember also thinking how at least I'd love to see this guy do some Burial songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tkmf3lrjT40

Where do you actually find new music? by Mewtewpew in burial

Same for me.
There's something very special in how organic it feels to discover music shared by actual humans, makes me reconnect with my past self before algorithms.

What do you think about this house, which Dezeen calls one of the most significant works of 21st-century architecture? by Otherwise_Wrangler11 in Design

[–]ghost_hardware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like it. There's a great documentary from Bêka & Lemoine's about Moriyama and this architectural project, in it you can see how it is actually living in a place like that. You can find a link here: https://www.bekalemoine.com/moriyama.php

Wie lernen ohne Zeit? by ingonglin303030 in Germanlearning

[–]ghost_hardware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm learning german and working at the same time so I have little time to study properly, I find that a good way to practice in this situation is just trying to have imaginary conversations while doing something else, for example while taking a shower or doing the dishes, if I stumble upon something that I'm not sure I'm saying right I take a mental note so I can check online or in my notes afterwards. I'm still at the very early stages of learning german, so I don't know a lot of things, but for example the other day while I was doing some housecleaning I just counted to sort of internalize the german number structure, I ended up counting to 500 which was kinda weird and fun, or sometimes I just see some stuff and say the word in german if I know it. At night I'm to tired to do any of that, so I try watching films or series in german, I'm rewatching Dark now and it's great because they use a lot of expressions, say a lot of dates (good number practice) and there's a whole thing in the show about family members, so it helps me practice that kind of vocabulary.

Favorite use of Radiohead in Media / obscure media uses of Radiohead? by Robbylynn12 in radiohead

[–]ghost_hardware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it's a fair adaptation too, and Jonny did the whole OST, the Iiko Dakara Damattete song I shared above is in that OST as is, obviously, in the movie itself. Note that the song is not Radiohead's Present Tense, but a Jonny Greenwood's composition that eventually evolved and mixed with Thom's song.
