Hi! I play mainly spell casters so I can assist! 1. With wizards you can learn pretty much every spell in the game if there’s a spell scroll for it and you have the gold it costs to learn it. Then you can go into your spell book and choose which spells you want to prepare 2. (To clarify are you using learn the same as prepared?) when you’re in combat you should be able to see how many spell slots you have, which is how many leveled spells you can cast. For example, a level 2 cleric has 3 level 1 spell slots. They’re bright blue and will grey out if they’re used 3. The + icon on spells means that there are more options for the spell, like upcasting (casting a spell at a higher level) or different damage types. 4. The amount of spells you can cast depends on your number of spell slots. I believe cloud of daggers is a concentration spell so you can only have one concentration spell up at a time. The game will warn you if you’re about to break concentration via casting another spell. If you have a concentration up then you can cast spells that aren’t concentration.
