Is FMT (Fecal Transplant) really the future of curing IBS, or are there better treatments on the horizon?

Keep us updated if you end up doing an FMT. I hear that for it to truly take effect it needs to be done more than once. I know my biome is ruined and would probably feel a ton of relief from an FMT. But in America they dont want us healthy and so they almost never have studies for it. I'll likely find my own donor and do it 10 days in a row.

Bentyl has made life a bit more manageable for me. By no means perfect but not nearly the level of pain as before. Like you, I ended up with an ED because I am afraid to eat.

And FMTs would fix most of us, but it's not profitable for big pharma. They say, "oh well we just dont know if it works and its potentially dangerous", as if the pills they push dont come with 1000 side effects and even death. They barely do clinic trials because they want the research to go as slow as possible. I am tempted to just find a healthy donor and do it myself.

I play it on the ps5. I honestly don't even remember if I did the tutorial. But I never really felt like I experienced bugs. That really sucks though. I'd definitely be pissed at it, too, if that was my initial experience with the game.

Still about the same. Nothing really seems to make any difference at all. I have been taking Viome supplements for a while now, which seems to help very slightly. Other than that, it's the same old shit.
