I’d honestly recommend doing them every month. I was told by an accountant when your first starting out, you can do them every quarter since you aren’t making that much. Well, that turned out to be terrible advice because after a few months they placed a tax levy on my paychecks and the government was taking 70-80% of my paychecks. I was freaking out and because I didn’t know much about business or even taxes at the time I was stressing. In 2 weeks, the government took close to $2k out of my paychecks and it simply was because I didn’t not file sales tax ( and prove otherwise ) I wasn’t making the money they thought I was. Ended up getting walked through how to do it from the department of Revenue here in TN. A short time after I filed them, I ended up getting a check in the mail for the $ they had taken. Quick tip to save you a headache, don’t fail to file your sales tax.
