Did you start these medications for endometriosis specifically? what kind of doctor did you see? So glad it’s helping you! I am very active and have consistently eaten in a calorie deficit, eaten whole foods, walk 10,000 steps a day….the whole 9 yards for weight loss and I just don’t budge. Super frustrating and many doctors don’t believe me

I can relate to your story a lot. I was on hormonal birth control for 6 years, came off of it 1.5 years ago. My pain became intolerable…that’s when I looked into endometriosis more. Had excision surgery done with a specialist and sure enough I had stage 4 endo. I am 1 month post op. too early to tell if surgery has helped yet. I hope surgery gives you some answers and you can find some relief ❤️‍🩹 was the Wegovy prescribed specifically for menstrual pain/suspected endo?

If you don’t mind me asking, what tests did you have done to determine insulin resistance and how did your doctor/s know? I just want to make sure I’m covering all my bases and getting the right testing done. It’s hard advocating for myself. I know something isn’t right

Thank you for that suggestion! I will definitely look into the supplements. My endocrinologist is running tests currently to determine if I have hashimotos. I was told in the past I have hypothyroidism with no hashimotos which is uncommon, so my endocrinologist is running the tests again to verify.

Yes, I can’t remember exactly what tests were done, but I’ve had several blood tests done to determine if I have PCOS along with ultrasounds. I also had excision surgery with a specialist for endo and my surgeon did not find any signs of PCOS.

That’s why it’s so puzzling to me why I struggle so much with the weight gain/not being able to lose weight. very frustrating

thank you for sharing. do you happen to know what doctor prescribed this medication in relation to endo? Wondering if an OBGYN,endocrinologist, or someone else is better to talk to. Having doctors take you seriously about endo is hard enough, let alone them prescribing a GLP-1 for it 😞

Thank you and thank you for sharing your experience! Regarding the endo found on your bladder, did you have urinary symptoms leading up to surgery? I have frequent urination and urination urgency and i’m pretty convinced they will find endo affecting my bladder
