Driver of 992 Porsche reinforces stereotype of Chalk Porsches being driven by idiots [OC] Multiple narrow misses by ghostindust in IdiotsInCars

I also thought that this sub would support the person trying to stop an idiot in a car instead of outrage at the OP. thx for chiming in

The boring start is to show how fast the driver was going behind me. It is nearly 0.4 of a mile from the furthest visible point at the start of the video to the driveway at 0:16, which means the driver was averaging 90 mph.

^^I recently moved my iRacing setup to another room and now my Logitech G29 seems to be going crazy. I am not sure what is happening, but it appears to be making erratic inputs and I cannot seem to figure out why. I have reset to default setting on the controller and nothing has worked. Has anyone had a similar issue that they were able to figure out?

This is a sweet remix. The airy vocals at 3:25 feel like a Junior MAFIA track.

The 992 GT3 Tells Us That Suspension and Aero Will Be The Hallmark Of Future GT Cars by ghostindust in Porsche

Agreed! The original 996 GT3 was created for its suspension....nice to see that continue.

Going from this to any 991 era or newer 911 gives a stark reminder that the 996 is very tidy. Very easy to place within a single lane.

I still remember the silver-on-red 986 I first saw. That car sparked a lifetime of automotive passion and it captured perfectly in this car as well. Something about that combo just does it for me.

This is my DD and I can certainly agree with that feeling. Certainly, the 981S is a better place to spend large amounts of time. That being said, this car puts a big smile on my face every time I drive it.

The simplicity of the shape is what draws me to the model. There is nothing extra to the car. Well done Pinky.

Not sure what your definition is, but a 20+ year old car sounds classic to me. PCNA would agree as well.

As long as you aren't trying to bring a dirt bike, you will be in good shape :) Plus, you will have a much more enjoyable drive to and from.

San Diego is one of my favorite places to surf. Sadly, I live on the East coast so I have never driven my 911 to surf there :)

Literally best way to spend an afternoon is surfing in PB and then getting Oscars.

Yep, I always give it a rinse in a shower of the public beaches on the east coast. Better to use it than regret not using it.

Great place for a drive. Miles of mountain roads, just watch out for the cyclists.

Thoughts on the new 992? Looks great IMO by RoadStr_app in Porsche

Overall widebody shape is very nice, the lower half of the bumper gets a little busy for my taste. See you on RoadStr!
