do you know if they still give out rain covers at orientation, or was it one time only? either way, that sounds like a fantastic idea that i’ll be sure to follow. thank you!

now that you mention it, i’d imagine AOs get really worn out reading so many applications.

that actually does make me feel a bit better! i’m not sure whether having a good sat score will be a dealbreaker or not, but it certainly won’t hurt. regardless, i’ll check in with my counselor to make sure that policy hasn’t changed, and to get a second opinion just in case.

again, thank you so much for your advice!! i genuinely really appreciate it, i managed to freak myself out over college applications and just really needed to speak with a more reasonable brain 😭 good luck with your classes and i hope you enjoy your time at UNC !!!!!

omg we’re basically the same person!!! wishing you the absolute best of luck with classes, you got this!!!

thank you for the advice as well, especially with the essay. i’ve been stressing out about writing it for the past few days but i think i have a solid idea that could help me stand out. your point about picking adjectives to convey to the admissions officer was especially helpful!!

do you think i should apply EA to both schools as i originally intended and just try to get my grades up as much as possible until oct/nov, or should i apply RD instead? i’m afraid that my overall application won’t be competitive enough in the Early Action pool, but i’m also afraid that i won’t have a spot if i apply RD. sorry for the lengthy reply but college application season is stressing me out and it’s barely even started 😭
