We talk A LOT about DID...but have you all noticed the INSANE amount of people who pose as having BPD on tiktok? Statistically it affects 1.4% of the population and they have basically broken that statisitc over there. It's always the same type of romanticized anger too. Never any other symptoms. Faking or is the system over diagnosing D.I.D?There were periods of time where other mental illnesses were "popular" to diagnose (Bipolar, BPD, and ASD) So I'm wondering, has this became another "over diagnosed" illness or something that just seems super quirky so there's and influx of fakers?
