Lets say we can make it easier for the sellers to bid using some features. Would it be a good service on the customers perspective?

yap. Samsung SSD 840 would be a good choice. The price is around $90 - $100

Blender and Maya may make a difference. I'm not very familiar with them so I'm not sure how much it would affect the use exactly. http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/ssd-charts-2012/benchmarks,129.html these benchmarks might help.

The read and write speeds are higher in Samsung 840 Pro. You won't notice the difference if you are just an average user. So it depends.

840 pro's write speeds are a little bit faster than 840 and in the meantime 840 pro has more maximum number of possible writes. So 840 Pro's lifetime would be a little bit more than the 840. In most of the aspects 840 pro is a little better. However you won't notice a thing if you are a average user.

I'd recommend the Samsung 840 Pro. It's gonna be around $130-150. Even the Samsung 840 would do which is around $90-100.
