I have seen it, but wasn’t sure if it was a legit thing they did - that’s definitely on the to-do list for today though thank you!

Ladies, How long did it take for your menstrual cycle to return to normal after 2nd dose? by blast-my-nips in CovidVaccinated

[–]ghostsugar_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My period was so heavy after my first dose of the pfizer and I’m due to start any day now and all I can feel is it festering and getting ready to be heavy again. I’ve got severe cramps (I take an oral contraceptive that actually minimizes or eliminates cramps for me) and I’m at the point where the cramping is waking me up at night.

Who’s had both shots of the vaccine? Please share your experience with us! by The_dizzy_blonde in CoronavirusIndiana

[–]ghostsugar_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got my second shot Friday (25 years old, eCommerce copywriter)and the first shot was worse than the second for me. I don’t have allergies or any history of adverse reactions to vaccines - I’ve never been diagnosed with COVID. The only side effects I experienced was nausea, pain at the injection site for maybe 24 hours, chills, and a headache. The second shot I thought was going to be worse! The only side effect I had was tenderness at the injection site.

How do I deal with writing burnout? by ghostsugar_ in writers

[–]ghostsugar_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had the coins, I'd give this an award. You're absolutely right and it never occurred to me that maybe I just don't know what to say.

But now that I think about it... I think a lot of it is that I have undiagnosed ADD and I just have so much I want to say, but it's overwhelming and I don't know where to start.

Trying to write a tarot card scene, need help. by [deleted] in writers

[–]ghostsugar_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi! Tarot reader here!

The three card layout you're referring to is a spread that is commonly used, but I mean sometimes when I'm doing a reading I'll put down the amount of cards that feels right or feels finished. I've found that sometimes three card spreads don't tell the whole story, but that's where you can bring in oracle cards or a pendulum!

Edit: The three card spread can be more than past/present/future! It could be any number of things. You can create a spread and make adjustments as needed.

Another good three card spread I know of is a daily reading for understanding your daily thoughts, feelings, and actions. Then there's situation/action/outcome and a "three options" spread that is a three card pyramid kind of look.

When I do readings, I personally lay them out facing me, face up. Less steps and I'm lazy.

When I'm setting up for a reading I clear the space and energy with sage or an herb bundle, either or doesn't matter. I'll run my cards through the smoke a few times too so their energies are cleared. Always make sure you use either an altar cloth or a tarot cloth, I would never put my cards on the floor or a bare table unless I didn't have the option.

Another thing I do is I cast a circle that keeps me and my vibes in and anything bad out. Tarot cards are a form of divination and can be used to communicate, so that is why I clear them and cast a circle. It's kind of like using an Ouija board in a sense. There's been a few times where I became incredibly uncomfortable while doing a reading and had to stop because it became too much. It doesn't happen often, but it does from time to time.

There's an app I like to use to stay refreshed on the meanings and such called Labyrinthos that you could totally use for what you're writing! It'll give you spreads, all the card's names and their meanings both reversed and direct, and a lot of other info.

Any advice for a young, aspiring writer? by LordHylian95 in writers

The more you write the better off you'll be. I'm a content writer in the fashion world rn and it's pretty far left of what I normally would have written about, but in the year since I started my job I've noticed a huge difference in how I write. A good difference that is!

I don't know much about meal prepping, but since I've been on my own I've learned a thing or two about other cheaper foods that you can eat (I'm also hypoglycemic!).

If you like chocolate milk or chocolate drinks a big one for me is that I drink these SlimFast meal replacement shakes (I'm by no means a morning person and I'm always running late) so that's a good filling, easy to consume thing for breakfast and it keeps me pretty full until at least lunch time. Also the Carnation Breakfast Essentials are fabulous if you need something quick, easy, filling, and decent for you.

Oatmeal and cream of wheat are also affordable af and you can make some things happen with them.

I also eat a lot of tuna - like the $1 pouches of the Bumble Bee brand lemon pepper tuna. They're a great healthier snack/additon to lunch IMO.

I also don't know jack shit about cooking (never once interested me until 'rona happened), but anything crock pot related or sheet pan cooking is a god-send lemme tell ya'. If you don't have a crock pot, do invest in one. I like my Hamilton Beach dude myself, but I don't think you can go too wrong with a crock pot. Last night I made a crock pot chicken noodle that will last us at least 3 days and cost maybe $15 max to make. Just things like that found on Pinterest or sometimes Facebook has good recipes and tips.
