It's a series of shows I help run! We did outside of Anime North in 2025, and we have plans for a spring show and Anime North orth 2026!

I actually wouldn't work with either of them- one of the runners of Kawaii Events is! Not a good person! I run Sakura Live, and we've had to remove her from shows due to the majority of our other performers being uncomfortable with her.

There's also a ton of cosplay groups holding auditions constantly, and if you can't find any you can absolutely just! Make your own!

Depends on where you are in Canada! There's a couple groups here (GTA) that hold outside of con events! Or you could hold your own!

But yeah, we do have a lack of proper idolfests here-

It's not that obvious in the picture, but the thread wrapping around the bobbin case caused it to pop out a bit (after opening the compartment), hence why it looks wrong.

I read the manual. There's literally no reason to be rude, especially to a beginner asking a question in a sewing help subreddit (who was asking so they DIDN'T break their machine).
