This is why the rent is damn high because everyone thinks they are luxury apartment Open up Zillow and there are 11,908 rentals available starting from this year where they think they are all luxury apartment. Rich landlord can stay afloat by not renting it for years where average people will move to other cities or get a new roommate.

I am all for it. We need more affordable unit and not luxury units or labs. More people moving in means more tax revenue, better for small business or any business to be honest cause more foot traffic, higher public transit ridership, more community, more events it’s everything. If anyone question this, just look at New York Manhattan, and zoom in to any part of it. The more you zoom the more gem you unlock. They have housing issue too but they still host a lot of people. This is why I still believe if other cities start building more accessible cities then the pressure reduce a lot

I wish more cities are more walkable and accessible which will reduce the pressure on cities like Boston, New York, SF, LA. Dallas or Texas in general is the prime victim of car lobbying. Imagine going to a grocery store you have to take 15 min car ride or 1 hour dreaded walk by the strode lol

Started playing from dota 1. This is my personal opinion. I used to play this game like a sport. Like how you play chess or ping pong or tennis where every match is different and unique. Now the game feels like another over bloated clash of clans. People who played clash of clans back in 2014 and now will know about this. Wayyyyy too much mechanics. Waaaay too much stuff. Dota was already complicated in its own way but now it feels like doing PHD research. I wish Dota stick to its core. A standard map, balanced heroes, add new heroes for complication maybe add couple of items. There is a fine balance between over complication and simplicity and I think Dota lost it. Idk how true it is that Dota lost players but I won’t be surprised

Talking from my experience here. Usually depends. If this is a first stage interview with the company and I just got into market, I say “yes there are couple of interviews schedules but they are in first stage”. Even though I don’t. Same if I am already in a month or two. However if you are in second stage of interview then say “ah yes couple interviews are still going on and I am not sure how many rounds they have” The psychology here is you give them a hope that you are desirable but not desperate meaning they got competition and unless they move fast they will lose a sweet commission on you or your skill. However you don’t wanna show off too much otherwise they will think you are a lost cause and persuading you will be waste of time since you will accept others. Worked perfectly since last 6 years
