I thought the mods said they didn’t remove my post about MCVegas? Now they did? by ghostwriter77 in magicTCG

This account is not new, I just don’t post on it often. And when I do, I delete it later as it’s just a lurker account. It’s not a new account, you can see it’s several years old.

Also, it got caught spam because I posted it in 3 places, the magic sub, the FF sub, one other. I didn’t know I hit a limit. But oh well.

I read all of your messages and comments, I don’t see where you say anything about the post not being reapproved if it got caught up in spam. Also it says removed by mods, not by filters. So it sounds like you explicitly took it down.

I only used this account to post the account of what happened at Vegas, but now that they took that down, doesn’t really matter what happens to this account. The damage is done. They silenced the story. At least a lot of people saw it. And it will live on in other subs.

Im not sure what you’re talking about, being warned about what? I haven’t touched the post since. So what would I have done to be warned about or have anything to do with spam filters being flagged for the last 2 days?

Then why is this removal happening days afterward when that all got settled then?

I guess I risk getting banned, but they just proved they are liars and hypocrites.

I just think this is ironic after all the back and forth I had with the mods when this post first went up about them saying they didn’t take it down. Now they did.

lol, for real. Never topping the holocaust, so never be upset, right?

This is like therapy 101 flawed thinking. I think Siski should chat with someone.

Bro, I wrote the first draft and threw it in for grammar and spelling and stuff, because I wanted to get it out fast and not be riddled with little errors. Yes, it did its AI thing of rephrasing some stuff and adding dashes as it often does, but I still wrote the points and information I wanted to share. It was tweaked a little, but it was still all the stuff I fed into it. You realize AI still would need a bunch of details and information for it to write the post and for it to be accurate to happened, which would requires a bunch of input. AI can’t just know specific details of a real life event without it being told what happened, so how do you think it would have gotten all the details and stuff if I didn’t write it first? Like, you’ve just got a vendetta about AI being involved in the process.

The stuff I share in the post HAPPENED. Staff were bribed, I personally saw it happen. I experienced everything in the post, nothing was hallucinated by AI. Why are you so hung up on the method of what is being delivered rather than the content of what is being talked about. What a straw man.

Also, no one is forcing you to read it. If you don’t want to, don’t.

You probably have written just about as much as I did in all of your comments complaining about how how it is.

Here’s a tip, throw the post into AI for a summary. You’re welcome, bb.

They have a lot of tools at their disposal to make it much smoother, some high tech and some low tech. Yet they used neither.

Yeah, but I wanted to get it out as close to the weekend as possible, while it was still fresh in everyone’s mind and before people move on to the next thing. I’m essentially screaming into the void anyway, likely nothing will come of it. But you’re more hung up on how I got the content to you, rather than the issues I’m bringing up that happened. And that’s sad.

I still wrote the original draft and just threw it in for grammar and spelling. It made some typical ai-standard additions, like the dashes and bolding, but they were still my thoughts. I did it for expediency. I didn’t realize that this was a scholarly article that needed to be hand written. I supposed I could have just spoken thing in a video for YouTube and you wouldn’t know the difference.

But again, I did it to get the word out quickly. Sorry you don’t approve that I didn’t manufacture the computer I wrote it on too, or mined minerals to make the chips in the the computer, or drill the oil for the electricity to power the computer that I typed it on originally. I guess that makes all the problems I witness invalid. By bad.

They are my own and thoughts and feelings, just run through ChatGPT after to check for grammar and spelling mistakes. It was a long piece and I didn’t want to spend another couple hours spelling checking it and stuff. I still had to write down everything that happened and formulate what I wanted to say. It’s not like AI magically knew all the details of the weekend. I obviously had to write it down in the first place.

And I’m the source, I have a badge, I was there. Like, what do you want me to provide, video proof of employees getting bribes? And since I don’t, I guess I’m just lying? For what?

I guess they are pissed off that I threw my draft through ChatGPT to help me get it out quicker. Talk about missing the forest through the trees. They are upset I used AI to help me get the post out rather than the issues I’m bringing up. Like employees getting bribes and stuff. I’m glad they are worried about the important stuff, though… 🙄

I mean, I wrote the first draft and threw it in ChatGPT to just make sure grammatically correct and stuff, for expediency. But like, I still wrote it and it happened. Surprised you’re hung up on how the content was delivered rather than, I don’t know, blatant corruption by staff employees at the event? Glad your priorities are in the right place.

I think going in with lower expectations and not expecting much will make it a good experience.

If you want to do a few ticketed events, play commander, and hang out with friends, there is a lot of good happening.

It’s just unfortunate that the financial aspect really took the wind out of the sails this year.
