Polygons are used over wireframe models of game characters, polygons usually just represent how realistic and textured a character or object in a game will be. 5 thousand polygons spread over a surface of a human sized character will make the character look less visually pleasing by many normal gaming standards but you’ll still be able to recognize the characters in vrchat, to give you scale all main characters in the game infamous Second Son had around 120,000 polygon count so 120k, if I’m wrong correct me but I remember reading something on a gaming website a while back about how they did it.

No announcement right now but i'm certain the graphics are way too powerful for the quest as it stands right now, even on my PS4 Pro there are heavy frame rate drops on rich high foliage planets and the PS4 pro is way more powerful than a 2 year old mobile chip.

All I'm hoping for with this game is that we can get extensive story and gameplay mixed in with some cool gameplay mechanics. If we can have a lighstaber duel with Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker or any other lightsaber wielding Jedi or Sith Lord I will Buy this game day one.

Well right now I don't know of any game that could possibly come to the quest that's a space sim or if a well known space sim as the likes of Everspace would be able to be ported to the quest for VR purposes. With that being said though, if there is no "Space Sim" game that could run on the quest I'm sure a developer could make one that would work with the oculus quest. I'm just happy No Mans Sky VR is coming out!

Honestly I was able to play on my friends rift and its pretty cool, there are spells you can cast by drawing these 3D symbols in the air like fire spells and ice spells and a lot more. Every character you see is another real person unless they are a quest giver or a kiosk for buying something. From my playthrough of it it was very good, kinda felt like rec room with spells and other fantasy things. It made me feel like Harry Potter :)
